What pops into your mind when you think about Digital Advertising? Pressing the boost button? Posting on Facebook? Well.. if you look at it on a surface level, it’s pretty much what you thought but there’s so much more as you dive deep into the advertising world.

The very first step when marketing digitally is to identify a group of people who are most likely to engage with your content. We call this group “Audience”. While targeting the audience, one must consider the behaviour, age group, location and most importantly, the pain points of the audience. The next step in the process is to grab the attention of your target audience through relevant content and attention-grabbing visuals which produce a better solution to the pain points than your competitors in the market. Ads are one of the most effective tools for building your audience. Some of the best platforms for running ads are Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Google and Twitter.

Once an engaged set of audience is built, we jump into sales. As tough as it sounds, this phase requires a lot of brainstorming and patience. This is the phase when we introduce “Re-targeting” in our ad campaigns. You can drive the engaged audience from the social or google platform into your website through continuous retargeting.

The final step is to measure and optimize our ad. Proper analysis of the audience behaviour for optimum sales is done through tools like Google Analytics. These tools allow you to monitor and measure the performance of your website and improve it accordingly. The data and metrics from these types of tools will allow you to experiment, innovate and enhance your marketing strategies continuously.
